We are proud to announce that Van Elle Piling Ltd have ordered SIX new Soilmec CFA Rigs in less than a year.

We have already delivered four SF-50’s and one SR-30S for the new fleet.  In addition, Van Elle have just placed an order for their 6th rig for delivery in October 2014.

In June, Giacomo Raggi (from Soilmec Spa, Italy) visited Van Elle Piling at their new facility in Kirkby in Ashfield to present the new Soilmec SF-50 to Andy Waghorn, the Divisional Director of Piling.

Our team commissioned the latest new SF-50 drilling rig at our sales and service facility in Oundle, near Peterborough.  The Soilmec has been the rig of choice for the Van Elle rig fleet update program.  All the rigs have been painted in Van Elle livery, built to a high specification including Soilmec DMS instrumentation and many accessories.

The Soilmec SF-50 is the U.K market leading rig dedicated to the Continuous Flight Auger drilling technique.  Mounted on a Soilmec base carrier, the SF-50 is equipped with the DRILLING MATE SYSTEM (DMS) on 12′ touch screen for monitoring and control of the rig performances and operating parameters.
