Pat McKay, the General Manager of Lagan Plant Ltd, visited the Soilmec facility near Peterborough for hand over of their new Soilmec SR-75.

The new Soilmec SR-75 painted in the company livery will go to site to complete the installation of up to 1200mm CFA piles.

Lagan Plant’s rig is the third SR-75 sold in the U.K this year and part of a new generation of rigs designed by Soilmec for large diameter piling, where the structural components have been redesigned to reduce weight.

These rigs are fitted with tier IVi engines, which exceeds stringent new emission standards and reduces CO2 by around 17%, while still delivering more power, efficiency and flexibility.
